About Us

Scotford Insulations Ltd

Established in 1983, Scotford Insluations was set up by husband and wife Julian and Sue. Julian completed his insulation apprenticeship in 1972 and worked for a local insulation firm before heading out on his own. Working all over the country and most of the time, 7 days a week, Julian and Sue continued to grow the business whilst raising a family.
Their eldest son Adrian joined the company in 1998 followed by their youngest son Adam in 2000. Their sister Angie joined Sue in the office in 2006 completing the definition of a family run business.

In 2007 Neil, a friend of Adam's, joined the team and has continued to work for them ever since.

2022 arrived and it was time for Julian and Sue to hand over the reigns and retire, leaving the business in the capable hands of the next generation.

But the story does not stop there! At the end of 2022, Connor, eldest son of Adam, started his insulation apprenticeship leading the business into it's 3rd generation of Scotford's.

Having worked with many contractors over the years, we have become established within the commercial building sector creating many friendships along the way.

Experience

With Adam, Adrian, Neil and Connor, between them there is not a site or location they haven't worked at. From hospitals and schools to private houses and offices, they've covered them all.

Adrian

Adrain has been part of the company since 1998. CSCS NQV qualified, Enhanced DBS checked.

Director & Site Engineer

Adam

Adam has been part of the company since 2000. CSCS NVQ qualified, Enhanced DBS checked.

Director & Office Manager

Angie

Angie has been part of the company since 2006 and is the full time office manager. Angie concentrates on the day to day running of the business & job quotations. Enhanced DBS checked.

Site Engineer

Neil

Neil has been part of the company since 2007. CSCS NVQ qualified and Enhanced DBS checked.

Office Leader

Sally

Sally has been part of the company since 2020 and runs the office alongside Angie. Sally concentrates on the running of the business accounts.

Site Enginer

Connor

Connor has been part of the company since 2022 and is currently working towards his insulation apprenticeship. Enhanced DBS checked, Pasma Qualified.
